Vista Soccer Club
The Vista Soccer Club is a non-profit corporation, founded in 1982 to provide boys and girls in Vista and surrounding communities the opportunity to play organized soccer. The Vista Soccer Club is a member of the California Youth Soccer Association – South (CYSA-South); and is affiliated with the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) and the United States Youth Soccer Association (USYSA). We provide both recreational and competitive programs for youths ranging in age from 4 to 19 years old. With an annual registration of approximately 2300 players, the Vista Soccer Club is one of the largest youth sports organizations within San Diego County.
Recreational Soccer
Recreation teams are coached by one of the parents of the players on the team. From any random group of 12 children, one parent MUST be willing to be the coach of that team. Approximately 85% of our players participate in our recreational program. Assignments to our recreational teams are made using a system whose main focus is parity and balance. We strive to provide an environment that allows for both player development and enjoyment.
Competitive Soccer
Our competitive program is designed for those players who have a greater interest and commitment to advancing their skills. Players benefit from the teachings of highly experienced, paid, professional coaches. Teams compete in travel leagues; as well as regional, state and national tournaments.
